Nathan

Nathan graduated from U of I in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in physics, as well as minor in Secondary Education, Math, and Computer Science.  He began teaching high school physics at a large public high school in southern Illinois the same year.  Over the years, he has taught chemistry, conceptual physics, regular physics, honors physics, and AP physics C mechanics.  In 2011 he earned a master’s degree in Physics Education Research (PER).  He has also taught at a local Community College as an adjunct instructor since 2012.  Outside of the classroom he has promoted interest in STEM through sponsoring a trebuchet club, engineering club, and the chess club.  Outside of school he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, as well as being very involved in his local church.
