Jill

With 25 years of teaching experience under her belt, Jill brings a teaching philosophy grounded in principles of active learning and inquiry-driven instruction into her physics classroom. Teaching at a public high school in Central Illinois, she currently teaches the preparatory course for AP Physics and AP Physics C. Jill has created numerous curricular resources for these courses, including instructional videos for use in flipped lessons and inquiry-based lab activities.

"Although I teach physics, I don't expect every kid who enters my class to fall in love with the subject. What I hope is for all my students to again wonder about their world — a trait that many people lose by the time they finish high school — and that they feel driven and able to learn about whatever it is they find fascinating."
