Anna

Anna has been teaching all types of sciences for the last eight years. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s in chemistry and obtained teaching endorsements in chemistry, physics, grades 6-8 physical science, and grades 9-12 math. She currently teaches a freshman Honors Introduction to Chemistry and Physics course, Honors Physics, and Physics at a large public high school in Chicagoland. She is passionate about getting students curious about science and creating an environment where every student can work towards mastery in learning. She earned her master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University in 2021 where she focused on how incorporating instructional technology principles into physics classes can allow for greater student success.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles, and cycling. She also volunteers for a local emergency management agency and loves attending Chicagoland theatre productions.
